Privacy Policy

Overview
Tremor DJ ("Tremor", "the App") is developed by MindArray. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.
Data Collection
Tremor does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
All audio processing, AI analysis (BPM detection, stem separation, key detection, music classification), and DJ performance data stays entirely on your device.
Device Permissions
Tremor may request the following permissions:
- Music Library — To browse and load tracks from your Apple Music or local library for DJ mixing.
- Microphone — For live mic input during mixing, voice effects, and Shazam song identification.
- Camera — For capturing video during live DJ performance for video mixing and streaming.
- Local Network — For syncing playback state with nearby Tremor devices and AirPlay video streaming.
- Bluetooth — For connecting wireless MIDI DJ controllers (Pioneer DDJ-FLX2, FLX4 and similar). Only MIDI control events are received locally; no audio or personal data is transmitted.
All permissions are optional. The App functions without any permissions granted (you can load files from the Files app instead of the music library).
Third-Party Services
- Apple Music — If you have an Apple Music subscription, Tremor can access the catalog via Apple's MusicKit framework. Apple's privacy policy applies to Apple Music data.
- Shazam — Song identification uses Apple's ShazamKit. Audio fingerprints are processed by Apple's servers. Apple's privacy policy applies.
- SoundCloud — If you choose to upload recordings to SoundCloud, your SoundCloud account credentials are managed by SoundCloud's OAuth. MindArray does not store your SoundCloud credentials.
- Tidal — If you enable Tidal streaming, your Tidal account credentials are managed by Tidal's OAuth. MindArray does not store your Tidal credentials. Tidal's privacy policy applies to data handled by Tidal.
- RTMP Streaming — If you enable live streaming, video/audio is sent to the streaming platform (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook) you configure. MindArray does not operate or access these streams. The destination platform's privacy policy applies to streamed content.
- CarPlay — When you connect to CarPlay, Tremor displays a CarPlay-compatible interface for in-vehicle playback. CarPlay is provided by Apple; no additional data is transmitted by Tremor.
Subscriptions & Billing
Tremor Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. MindArray does not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Subscription receipts are validated locally on your device using Apple's StoreKit framework. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Analytics
Tremor does not use any analytics SDKs and MindArray does not collect telemetry from the app. Crash reports and performance diagnostics are handled entirely by Apple's built-in system services (subject to your iOS Share With Developers setting); these reports go to Apple, not to MindArray, and Apple's privacy policy applies. MindArray operates no servers that receive app data.
Data Storage
All app data (cached analysis results, stem files, recordings, settings) is stored locally on your device in the app's sandboxed container. You can clear cached data from iOS Settings > Tremor.
Children's Privacy
Tremor does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation or personal information to function.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
