Pad Modes

Switch between modes by tapping the mode buttons or swiping to the corresponding center panel page.

Hot Cue

Set and trigger cue points. Tap an empty pad to set a cue at the current position. Tap a lit pad to jump to that cue instantly. Hold and tap another pad to copy a cue. Double-tap to delete.

Beat Loop

Trigger beat-synced loops. Each pad represents a loop length: 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4 beats. Tap to start a loop, tap again to exit. Great for buildups and breakdowns.

Pad FX

Trigger instant effects. Hold a pad to activate the effect, release to cut it. Effects include Echo, Reverb, Filter, Roll, Trans, and more. Multiple pads can be held for layered effects.

Sampler

Trigger one-shot samples or loops. Load your own samples or use the built-in library. Samples play independently of deck playback — perfect for drops, vocals, and sound effects.

Stems

Control AI-separated stems. Each pad corresponds to a stem (Vocals, Drums, Bass, Melody) with mute, solo, and volume controls. See the Stems guide for details.

💡

Quantize

With Quantize enabled, hot cue jumps snap to the beat grid. This keeps you in time even if you tap slightly off-beat. Toggle it off for freestyle scratching.

Loop Roll Technique

Use Beat Loop pads to create the classic "loop roll" buildup:

  1. Start with a 4-beat loop
  2. Switch to 2-beat loop
  3. Then 1-beat
  4. Then 1/2-beat
  5. Then 1/4-beat
  6. Release at the drop!

The progressively shorter loops create rising tension. Release at the perfect moment to slam into the next section.
