MIDI Controllers

Connect your DJ controller to Tremor via USB or Bluetooth. Built-in mappings for popular controllers, plus MIDI Learn for custom setups.

Supported Controllers

Tremor ships with factory mappings for these popular controllers. Just plug in and play — no setup required.

Any MIDI Controller

Even if your controller isn't listed, you can use MIDI Learn to create a custom mapping. Any class-compliant MIDI device will work.

Connecting Your Controller

USB Connection

  1. Connect your controller to your device via USB (use a USB-C adapter if needed)
  2. Power on the controller
  3. Tremor auto-detects the controller and loads the mapping
  4. You'll see a notification: "Controller Connected"

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Put your controller in Bluetooth pairing mode
  2. Open iOS Settings → Bluetooth
  3. Tap your controller when it appears
  4. Once paired, Tremor detects it automatically

USB is Better

Bluetooth adds ~20ms latency. For professional performance, always use USB. Bluetooth is fine for practice and casual mixing.

MIDI Learn

Create custom mappings for any control in Tremor:

  1. Go to Settings → MIDI → MIDI Learn
  2. Enable Learn Mode
  3. Tap an on-screen control (e.g., the EQ Low knob)
  4. Move the physical control on your controller
  5. They're now linked! The mapping saves automatically.

You can export your custom mapping to share with others, or import mappings created by the community.

4-Channel Controllers

Controllers like the DDJ-FLX10 and DDJ-GRV6 have 4 channels. In Tremor:
