FLX4 Bluetooth

The FLX4 supports Bluetooth MIDI. Pair it in iOS Settings first, then Tremor will detect it. USB is recommended for lower latency.

Control Mapping

All FLX controllers share a similar layout. Here's what each control does in Tremor:

Transport

Control	Function
PLAY/PAUSE	Toggle playback on/off
CUE	Return to cue point (hold to preview)
SYNC	Sync tempo and phase to other deck
SHIFT + SYNC	Set as sync leader

Jog Wheel

Control	Function
Touch top surface	Scratch (stops motor, direct vinyl control)
Touch outer edge	Nudge tempo (speed up/slow down)
SHIFT + Jog	Fast seek through track

Performance Pads

Mode Button	Function
HOT CUE	Pads 1-8 trigger hot cue points
BEAT LOOP	Pads trigger loops: 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 beats
PAD FX	Pads trigger instant effects (hold to activate)
SAMPLER	Pads trigger sample slots

Mixer

FLX10 / GRV6: 4-Channel Mode

The DDJ-FLX10 and DDJ-GRV6 are 4-channel controllers. In Tremor:

iPad: Use 4-Deck mode to see all decks with the Orbital Fader
iPhone: Press DECK SELECT buttons to switch which deck pair is displayed
All 4 decks are always active in the audio engine
The DECK 1/2 and DECK 3/4 switches control which physical channel controls which deck

DECK SELECT

On 4-channel controllers with a 2-deck UI, the DECK SELECT buttons switch which pair of decks is visible. Load tracks to deck 3/4 before switching, and they'll keep playing.

Customizing the Mapping

If you want to change any control assignments:

Go to Settings → MIDI → MIDI Learn
Enable Learn Mode
Tap the on-screen control you want to remap
Move the physical control
Done! Your custom mapping saves automatically.

You can reset to factory defaults at any time from the MIDI settings menu.
