3 Loading Tracks

There are several ways to load music onto a deck:

Once loaded, Tremor automatically analyzes the track for BPM and key. You'll see the waveform build and the BPM appear in the deck header.

💡

Pro Tip

Sort your library by Key to find harmonically compatible tracks. Mixing within the same key or adjacent keys always sounds good.

4 Your First Mix

Let's mix two tracks together. Follow these steps:

Play Deck A

Load a track to Deck A and press PLAY. The waveform scrolls and the vinyl spins. This is your outgoing track.

Cue Deck B

Load a second track to Deck B. Use CUE to preview in your headphones. Find the first beat.

Match the BPM

Press SYNC on Deck B to match its tempo to Deck A. Or use the pitch fader to adjust manually.

Drop & Blend

Press PLAY on Deck B at the right moment. Move the crossfader from A to B. Swap the bass EQ for a clean transition.

The EQ Swap Technique

For smooth transitions, don't just crossfade. Instead:

  1. Keep the crossfader centered
  2. Cut the LOW (bass) on Deck B
  3. When ready to transition, swap the bass: bring B's LOW up while cutting A's LOW
  4. This prevents bass frequencies from clashing
